FAQ

Why is the settlement offer for my car so low?

Full Answer

A low property damage offer often happens because the insurer is using its own valuation tools, comparable vehicles, or deductions that may not reflect the vehicle’s fair market value. This is especially common when the vehicle is declared a total loss.

Ask for the valuation report, review comparable vehicles, and document upgrades, condition, mileage, and recent repairs. If the number seems wrong, you may be able to dispute it with supporting evidence.
