Matt Zar took an unusual path to the law. After graduating Summa Cum Laude from UCLA, he built a successful business career managing multi-million-dollar projects across California — leading teams of over 500 employees and negotiating with Fortune 500 companies in commercial property development.

A series of personal experiences — including watching insurance companies mishandle his own father’s slip-and-fall case — showed him how injured people are undervalued by the system. He enrolled in law school, passed the California Bar, and founded Bridgewater Law Group to fight those injustices.

His business background gives clients a unique edge: he understands how insurance companies think, negotiates like his own family is on the line, and treats every case as personal — not a file on a desk.
